Pressure is defined as the force per unit area on a surface. When we applied force on something by pressing it, we exerted pressure. When we apply pressure for example rocks, the particle of rocks will be compressed making it more denser since its volume is reduced. When we go down to the center of the earth, the pressure increases making the inner core densest layer of the earth because of too much pressure.
